Morgan couldn't
wait to go visit
her grandparents
in Florida for
New Year's 2009.
New Year's Eve
was spent with
Morgan's grandparents
in the setting sun
at John Prince Park
in Lake Worth.
As one of her
New Year's resolutions,
Morgan thought this
would be a good time
to learn how to
stand up in her
Pack 'N Play.
Morgan loves
a good Irish bar
and restaurant,
like Brogues
On the Avenue
in beautiful
downtown
Lake Worth.
Morgan ventured
even farther
in her travels
when she went
to CityPlace in
trendy downtown
West Palm Beach.
To shield her
from the bright
Florida sun, Vaari
bought Morgan a pair
of shades, which
she wore indoors
strictly for the
hipness factor.
"I think I could
get used
to chillin'
in Florida!"
Morgan refused
to go shopping
for baby food at
the local Publix
unless she
looked cool
in the process.
Morgan's favorite
place to relax
after a long day
of vacationing
was the Florida Room,
either with Vaari . . .

. . . or
with Mumma.

Morgan says,
"Happy New Year,
everyone!"

Merry Christmas, Baby

Morgan spent her very first Christmas with her baby cousin Aidan and other assorted grownups in Elizabeth, New Jersey.


Santa Claus was
very good to Morgan
for Christmas; one
of her favorite gifts
was wrapping paper.


Uncle Mike was trying
to give Morgan the
greatest gift of all:
the gift of walking.


"Not now,
Aunt Danielle,
I'm busy playing
with my keys!"


Morgan hopes that
Christmas comes
early next year!

Thank Heaven For Little Girls and Boys

Morgan spent her very first Thanksgiving with her cousin Aidan at Roseanne and Brad's house in Jersey City.

A Pagan No More

Along with her cousin Aidan, a 7-month old Morgan was finally baptized at St. Genevieve's Church in Elizabeth, New Jersey, thus exorcising any and all evil spirits.

Meet the Lindstroms

Morgan was thrilled to meet her grandparents again after six long months. She surprised Vaari and Mumma at the airport, then chilled out in their hotel room.

grandparents visited
her in Jersey City,
where Vaari got to
feed her for the
first time.


Mumma came bearing
gifts, including
Morgan's first
Finnish book.


Mumma also got
her turn at feeding

A Swinging Good Time

First time swinging! Morgan recently discovered the joy

at a playground
in Hoboken.

Keeps On Growing

Morgan weighed
almost 14 pounds
(6.25 kg) at her
pediatrician's
appointment.

Hardly surprising,
since she chows
down everything
in sight.

Autumn In New York

Morgan visited
New York City
for the first time
this week.

She stopped by
the Babies R Us
at Union Square,
had lunch at
a nearby café,
and helped Daddy
pick up some
red wine from
Trader Joe's . . .


. . . but by the time
Morgan made it to
The Strand, she had
already fallen asleep.
Books, it seems,
are boring.

Jumping for Joy

Rock ’N Roll, Baby

I have seen the future of rock and roll and the future is Morgan. She really loves the guitar! Her favorite tune is “Wish You Were Here” by Pink Floyd.

Little Chunkster

Morgan went for
her pediatrician's
appointment this
morning and weighed
in at a whopping
12 lbs. 4 oz.
(that's 5.55 kg!).

I guess all that
rice cereal really
is working.

She also got two
shots of something,
which you could tell
she really liked from
her tears of joy.

The Daycare Pro

Morgan's second week
of daycare comes
to a close today!
Here, she is
looking forward
to another
adventurous day
at Little Smiles.

She is getting
to know the other
babies and is also
learning Spanish
from the teachers.
